Jill Andrews Memorial (JAM) Softball Clinic - 25th Annual

Mark your calendar for the 25th annual Jill Andrews Memorial Softball Clinic. JAM, in memory of Jill who loved and excelled in the sport of softball, is an opportunity for girls to learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and festive atmosphere. Area women who have played softball serve as the clinicians for the training sessions and they stress skills, techniques, fun and sportsmanship. This all day clinic includes lunch, T-shirt and picture for each participant. Pre-registration is required. Registration is limited to the first 100 paid participants. NEW Skyhawks – Multi-Sport Camp 

Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, and Ultimate Frisbee will be featured. Skyhawks Multi-Sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this program we combine 2 -3 sports into one fun-filled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week, your child will walk away with knowledge of (2 or 3) new sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self- discipline. NEW Skyhawks – Lacrosse Camp 

Lacrosse is one of the oldest team sports in America, started on the East Coast by the Native Americans in the 12th century. Suit up and come find out why it has grown to be one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Lacrosse combines the basic skills used in soccer, basketball, and hockey into one fast paced, high scoring game. Athletes will learn all the fundamentals of stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting, all in a fun, non-checking environment. Skyhawks staff will ensure that campers not only learn the sport of lacrosse, but also important life skills such as respect, teamwork, and discipline. NEW Skyhawks – Mini-Hawk Camp 

This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Skyhawks Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Clearwater Youth Triathlon

Is your child looking for a challenge? The Clearwater Youth Triathlon is for youth of all abilities who would like to participate in a fun triathlon.  Participants will swim, bike and run:  the race distance is based upon age and the non-competitive environment will be perfect for kids of all ability levels.  All participants receive a t-shirt and all finishers will receive a finisher’s medallion.  All participants must wear helmets during the bike leg of the event.  Pre-registration is required.

Steelhead Fly Tying

This is your opportunity to join Leroy Hyatt in a class that will teach you the basics of fly tying for steelhead fishing. A syllabus of material learned and equipment required will be distributed before the first session. Each person will be required to furnish their own equipment and supplies; because of this you will end the course with a basic assortment of valuable equipment for future fly tying. Pre-registration is required.

Co-Ed Slow Pitch Softball League with Radio Partner Pacific Empire Radio

With the kids done with baseball/softball, it’s now your turn! Come play in the Adult Coed Softball League played August through October.  The season will consist of 3 preseason games, 12 regular season games (in 3rd’s).  Team managers should submit their roster and all player and team fees at the time of registration. Each team is required to have a minimum of 12 players. Team sponsorships are allowed and recommended. We will also offer a Post Season Tournament - $75 3 game guarantee. Pre-registration is required. Early Bird Registration - Monday, June 25 – Friday, July 20. General Registration – Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27.

This is a recreational Adult Soccer League that will be played July through August.  Team managers must submit their roster and team fee at the time of registration. This league will play 10 games. Scuba Diving Class (Sessions 1&2)

This class will provide the participants with the opportunity to obtain N.A.U.I Scuba Diver Certification after completing class time in the water and the online course.  Participants must be 14 years of age (instructor’s discretion); a physical exam may be required; must pass a basic swimming test; furnish their own mask, fin boots and snorkel; and have transportation to the open water dive sites near Coeur d’Alene or on the Clearwater River*. Pre-registration is required.

White Water Rafting Trips – Salmon River

Have you always wanted to try White Water Rafting, now you can enjoy a one day trip on the Riggins Stretch of the Salmon River.  A raft trip that combines sandy beaches, rapids (class II-IV), and beautiful scenery.  Salmon River Experience provides licensed guides, rafting equipment, shuttle and deli lunch.  You need to provide your own canned beverages.  Maximum number of participants for each trip is 30.  Pre-registration is required.
