Position Summary:

Under the direction of the GIS Supervisor, performs a variety of work related to the technical aspects of the City’s asset management program. This position will work with all utilities to develop and maintain an asset management system in order to provide for the sustainability of the City’s infrastructure with an emphasis on pavement management. This position will capture workflows, create data structure to support workflows and set up and manipulate equipment and software that support that data capture. The incumbent will have knowledge of database structure, field collection methods, data input and analysis within the GIS and asset management systems.

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering Associates Degree preferred, equivalent experience will also be considered
• Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) preferred but not required
