SOBER GRADUATION

Since 1990, the Fire Department has conducted the Sober Graduation Program in May, designed to influence graduating students' attitudes toward drinking and driving during the weeks leading up to and immediately following graduation, and hopefully into their adult lives.

The quality of this program has been recognized through the receipt of several past awards.

Invitations are extended to regional high schools, resulting in participation by 900-1000 seniors.
