Beautiful Downtown Lewiston, LCSC Athletics, and Lewiston  Parks and Recreation are teaming up again  to bring you an amazing family event!.  Meet LC Baseball players, take pictures, and get an autograph at local downtown businesses. Then, walk over to Brackenbury Square for a hotdog, peanuts, and the Lewiston Parks and Recreation bouncy castle!

Rec Mobile is a new program presented by the Lewiston Parks and Recreation Department. The primary goal is to introduce youth to recreational activities that are fun, challenging, and encourage them to “Get out and Play” now and during their entire lives. And is intended to help alleviate the accessibility issue and provide safe, supervised activities near to home. Activities will include dozens of recreation games that will be played at several sites across Lewiston. Lewiston Parks and Recreation and Lewiston City Library are teaming up again to bring you this fun summer program.  Read, Play, Learn will offer a story time for children read by Library staff and then an invigoration playtime at the park lead by Parks and Recreation Staff. Please join us for this dynamic program. Also, on Thursday, July 24 the Idaho Puppet Theatre will perform a magical show called “Happy Birthday Wilderness.”

LC Valley Cardboard Boat Regatta

Make something you’ve never thought possible, a boat made out of cardboard!  Lewiston Parks and Recreation is again partnering with the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center for this unique competition. You will build your own boat out of cardboard, and some duct tape (when you register, we will give you a packet of rules and tips on how to build your boat).  There is a best in show contest, an obstacle course race, and a last man standing contest. We’ll find out who knows their stuff, and who’s headed for Davy Jones Locker!  Teams of one to three may compete.  Youth under 11 require adult supervision in the water.

The P1FCU Old Fashioned 4th of July is back by popular demand.  Lewiston Parks and Recreation is excited to have the 4th Annual P1FCU Old Fashioned 4th of July. Come enjoy local veterans, local food vendors, local entertainment, old-fashioned fire truck rides, stagecoach rides, and children’s games and activities. Radio partner Big Country Radio, KHITS, and B973.com will bring you the Sun Festival show and shine. The Lewiston Community Band will start at 4:30pm playing classic patriot music!

The Wenatchee Youth Circus celebrates its 62nd season this summer! Two 18-wheel semi-trucks provide center ring set-up for acts such as flying trapeze, high wire, swinging ladders, Spanish webs, double trapeze, single trapeze, tumbling, trampoline, roman ladders, clown antics & much more! Pre-Sale individual, family and group tickets are available at the Lewiston Community Center beginning June 2nd, tickets are also available at gate.

We are calling all father and sons to join us for a wonderful bonding experience that will last a lifetime.  The Tri-State Outfitters - Father Son Campout will included include dinner, breakfast, hiking, games, activities, campfire, hiking safety, outdoor safety, fire safety, storytelling, and s’mores. CableONE Dive and Drive Drive-In Movies @ Orchards Pool

Participants will first go swimming at Orchards Pool from 7:10pm – 8:30pm followed by our drive-in movies.  Families can pile in their cars of trucks and drive up to the inflatable movie screen. Concessions will be provide by local non-profits.  Radio partner Big Country/Big Country Classics/KHITS/B973.com will provide the radio feed to your car.  This is a must go event for the summer!

LC Valley Down and Dirty Mud Run

The LC Valley Down and Dirty Mud Run is part cross country run, part obstacel course for men, women and children of all ages and athletic abilities. And don't worry! It's not a "race" unless you want it to be one. Slow down, get muddy and enjoy the opportunity to get real dirty without having to make excuses.
