Citizen Cooperation
The Lewiston Police Department recognizes that effective policing can only be achieved with the cooperation of the residents of the City of Lewiston to ensure we live and work in a safe community. Our community is safest when citizens are involved and proactive in detection and prevention of crime.

Therefore, our Community Program has many diverse and successful programs that have grown and expanded to train our citizens regarding crime and safety, while providing ways for citizens to easily communicate with the Police Department.

The Department has used these programs to build relationships with its citizens, groups, and businesses in the community. We encourage you to use these programs to become involved in preventing crime and increase safety in our community.

If you have any questions, please contact Sgt. Michael Pedersen or Cpl. Eric Kjorness at (208) 746-0171.
