The City of Lewiston and the Intermountain Fair Housing Council hosted a free training on the Fair Housing Act on April 10, 2015.
The workshop was held from 12:30 to 5:00 pm at the Community Development Conference Room, 215 D Street, Lewiston Idaho. Consumers, housing providers, property managers, realtors, lenders, housing advocates, government personnel and officials, property owners, landlords, and residents learned about the fair housing act, support animals, reasonable accommodations, and limited English proficiency compliance requirements. Mr. Eric Steven, Attorney; Ms. Sarah Fischer, Senior Investigator, Idaho Human Rights Commission; Zoe Ann Olson, Director, Intermountain Fair Housing Council; and Ken Nagy, Attorney presented the information.
