The City of Lewiston's Engineering Division is staffed by 1 City Engineer, 2 Asst. City Engineers, 1 Engineering Technician/Surveyor, 2 Engineering Technicians, 1 Eng/Construction Asst., 1 GIS Specialist, 1 Storm Water Program Coordinator, 1 Construction Coordinator, and 1 Construction Assistant.  The City of Lewiston Engineering Division is responsible for the following activity areas:

  • Design and construction management of all capital improvement projects

  • Planning for improvements to the stormwater sewers, sanitary sewers, street system, and water systems

  • Traffic studies

  • GIS/City maps

  • Phase II Stormwater Permit Process

  • Infrastructure planning

  • Review of new development plans as they relate to the City's infrastructure

  • Right-of-Way Management

  • Implementation of the Sidewalk Master Plan (installing sidewalk in areas designated as primary pedestrian ways within the City)
