*NEW* Compensation Review Committee

The City of Lewiston is seeking volunteers to serve on the Compensation Review Committee. The Compensation Review Committee will consist of 5 to 7 members, serving one-year terms, and makes recommendations for adjustments, increases, or decreases to the Mayor’s and City Council’s compensation and benefits. Your appointment to a position signifies the City Council’s desire to have the benefit of your input during the decision-making process. 

The Compensation Review Committee will provide its recommendations to the City Council by June 1st of each odd-numbered year. It is important to know that not all of the recommendations made by the boards, commissions or committees will be accepted. Elected officials must weigh all advice, information and considerations as they reach the decisions for which they are responsible.
