CompTIA Certification Guide Series

The Lewiston City Library is here to help!

The Lewiston City Library now has a selection of certification prep guides related to careers in technology. These guides include:

In addition, the Lewiston City Library provides access to, an online learning platform that helps people learn business, software, technology, and creative skills. Library card holders have access to the Lynda video library of courses taught by industry experts. This includes tutorials by the authors of the CompTIA series that help walk you through the certification guides.

How to use Lynda:

  1. Go to the Adult Learning page on our website.
  2. Click on the Lynda link. *Patrons will only be able to log in through the link on our website
  3. Log in using your library card # and password (Last name with first letter capitalized).
  4. Search for a class or browse by topics.
  5. Start Learning!

Need a place to study, but don’t have a computer or internet connection? 

We got you covered! The Lewiston City Library has a computer lab with 12 available desktop computers (with space for social distancing). We also have 5 hotspots available for checkout if you have a device and just need to take some WiFi home with you! Hotspots can be checked out for 14 days at a time and are free with unlimited data.
